Music won't add to Kies library

Hi all, downloaded some Podcasts on iTunes (only place I could get them), they're bulk standard MP3 format and in Kies, when I try to Add Folder, or Add Files to Library, Kies task bar down the bottom right hand corner will tick away "Adding Tracks to Library" but when that goes away, nothing has been added to the Kies library.

I'll sort the library be Modified Date, nothing new...search for those tracks, nothing...it says it's adding them, but then it hasn't...any clues?

Thankfully it's not a stupid iPhone and I can use Windows Explorer and just copy n paste the songs onto my SD card, but would be nice to get them actually in my Kies library.

Cheers again! :)

same problem ... one of my podcasts shows up but another 3 don't ... all are seen in itunes ... It sees the directories in so far as it offers me a chance to subscribe but it doesn't see the existing mp3 files even though it itemizes them as it is supposedly adding them to the library

edit: my suspicion is that it might have something to do with the mp3 tags but I have no idea what tags itunes or Kies require or use ... any ideas?

after a bit of searching ...

if it's true that if any tag contains "podcast" then itunes treats it as a podcast that would explain why itunes may categorize more things as podcasts (explaining, in my case, why some podcasts are recognized as such in Kies while other aren't even if all were recognized as podcasts in itunes). If TCO (content type) has to be set to podcast (255??) for Kies but not for itunes then one solution would be to edit the id3 tags for the podcast in question and make that change. I can't check this till tonight but if Kies and itunes use the id3 tags differently to identify podcasts this is a possible explanation/solution.
