Hi i wanted to know how i could play music on my evo without it draining my battery? Also is there a way i can link itunes with my evo?

Doing anything on the phone will drain battery, no way around that unless it's plugged in. However, the screen is often the biggest drain. So if you can setup your tunes and forget them, and let the phone screen sleep, it should help.
If you need really advanced control you can check out our applications forum: Android Applications - Android Forums there are usually a few threads in there about battery widgets, saving battery and setting up automatic low-power profiles, etc...
As for itunes:

You can also drag and drop files onto the SDcard, which a lot of people like.
