I actually spoke to a HTC repair guy about my phone and he advised adding a Task Killer as it would help with various aspects of the phone, like shuting down.

why don't you guys just sign up to appbrain.com? Brillaint site. You can browse apps there, and then push installs to your phones, and also you can add your friends who have desires and see what they have on their phones as well, all through the PC. Pretty awesome.
