Android Enthusiast
I'm an older, self taught PC/OS geek and I advise co-workers, friends and family on how to find or fix just about anything on their systems.
How old? On the net before the www prefix. I have a 17GB toolkit of trusted, must have applications to chose from when I install Windows on a system.
It took me a long time to finally get an Android phone and I'm a very happy camper but, the volume of applications available for it is overwhelming my older medulla.
It would be nice if someone, preferably with a degree in Android app usage, would put together a list of their trusted, must have applications for a non-rooted phone.
Maybe even break them down into packages.
1. New phone gotta install before anything else.
2. Just plain Talk and Text
3. Manage my life User
4. Manage my Work or Business user.
5. Super User
Security
Backup
System Manager
Browser - File and Web
Networking Tools
Call and Text management
Contact organization
etc, etc
Thanks,
