MX Player Sound gaps

I installed MX Player, which plays all video files perfectly... except there are sound gaps of a few seconds, in the beginning and in the end of every file.
Does anybody know how that is possible?

Hello eti-erik. Your MX Player may not be at fault. There are a number of other possibilities.. but before getting involved with those things (well, one being the simple task of clearing your cache and data in all sound related apps/widgets then rebooting ;)), install another player and see if it does the same or similar thing.

That will tell us a lot.

Meanwhile, you can check codecs for updating (another likely cause of issues):

I have not yet found another player that can play those files at all, do you know of one?

I have that codec installed that you linked to, what do I do to check it for updating?
