well to really find answers whether you can root your device or not, i always first go to the dev forums:https://forum.xda-developers.com/

and so after doing some search, the only thing i have found is this:

somebody there posted a suggestion. whether it works or not is to be seen. one poster could not get it to work and there was no follow up.

so use it at your own risk.

yeah thats the only thing i saw. it had promise then went cold. if xda has nothing on your device, then there is not much you can do. xda is the best resource we have to root our devices. the dev community is topnotch.

Most likely just gonna buy another box when I have the funds, one gig of ram is exhausting to deal with anyway.
