Root My Admire is dying

As of last night, my trusty Admire started tweaking out. Constantly rebooting and the hard keys minus the back button do not work, even in recovery, which is a PAIN to get into with the forceful rebooting. Has anyone had anything like this happen to their Admire?

No. take better care of your precious admire :P :D

Hardware wise, mine is still going strong. Running O.A. with pressy4pie's 1200 kernel. My biggest issue is with picture messaging. Haven't been able to send or receive one in quite some time.

There's a fix for it within the thread, something that dealing with APN backup and restore.

My wife and I both have an Admire. Picked them up almost 2 years ago, in October I think. Both are rooted, and have performed absolutely perfectly. The only problem I've come across is the finicky nature of Pandora via bluetooth on my radio.

Doesn't matter. I love this phone, and will hate to give it up when it dies.

For what it's worth, you can still get the Admire for $99 (according to the MPCS website).

It's amazing how such an "old" "low quality" phone could still be for sale in a time of "I need the new". Shows how well this phone was actually made, and the support of the community is also due some of that blame as well. I think it is great that there are still some top level dev's working on our phone. Would love to see a bad ass colab on some crazy hybrid rom that runs perfectly.
