Once I got my HTC Desire I also downloaded some kind of earthquake notifier. Basically it would make a bell sound and tell me that there was an earthquake in tonga as the news broke.
Then I thought, for a laugh, and nothing but a gimmicky pathetic laugh, it would be cool to have a smashed iphone app.
Everytime a matching twitter search appeared for the above query a broken glass noise would sound and a notification appear that someone else has smashed their iphone.
I reckon this would be really simple for someone to implement and even perhaps deal with the false positives.
It has no value whatsoever apart from just being very easy to implement so worth doing purely for the schadenfreude experience.
