My Apps/play store

wickets

Newbie
Anyone know how to set up 'my apps' ALL so that they are in alphabetical order? It looks like they are listed in chronological order......cant believe google let this junk out

What device? What version of Android?

Both of my devices (HTC Thunderbolt on GB and Acer A500 on ICS) show my apps in alphabetical order.

They dont show up alphabetically on the website via PC, but on the phone in the app, they're alphabetical. Go figure.

galaxy nexus 4.1.1.

Installed apps are alphabetical, but "all" apps seem date sensitive. Also, even via the web, playstore does not have a master list of apps....frustrating

thanks for trying to help

In your app drawer or in settings> manage applications?
Mine are in alphabetical order in both.
(my app drawer is of the GoLauncher persuasion).

Thanks sleedeane....that works, but i wonder why play store doesnt view apps like that and also, you cannot do anything with the list, I.E. if you are looking for goog books to add to a home screen, you cannot move it or manipulate it from 'manage applications'

When in apps you click the menu button you should see the "sort by size" or "sort by name".

There is not "date" sensitive option.

But you can from the app drawer, right?

You guys are talking cross purpose.

The OP is talking about PlayStore>My Apps>All Installed
KENNECTED seems to be talking about the App Drawer.

On Playstore? Nope sorry. But you can on AppBrain. Its sort of a front end app for the Play Store, and offers more info per app. You can see there all currently installed apps and sync it to a list (so if you have a new phone, you can install the same list), and it has an App Timeline which shows all apps you ever installed and it has sort function. I actually use AppBrain and not the Play Store app for downloads.
