Root My Avid is haunted

has anyone anyone ever experienced their Avid turning on by itself after powering it off and if so is their a way to fix this makes me feel like my phone is haunted lol.

the only thng I've noticed on mine is when get stuck on boot loop and take the battery out,
when I put battery back in it powers up automatically

ths only happens occasionally tho

my issue is that every time i hit the power button(not fully turning it off) it will turn itself back on it mainly happens when i am at the lockscreen I use widget locker do you think maybe that can be it?

What version of widget locker are you using? I had the opposite problem ( where my phone was turning off by itself ) when I was running a cracked version to test the app out. I didn't know widget locker was the problem till I bought the new version. After new version, phone has not shut down once on it's own.

If you need a better version of widget locker p.m. me.

I am running widget locker 2.3.2r1 do you think this version may be the problem or something else because i dont know if there is a better version. Also to be more specific about my problem every time i turn i power it off at the lockscreen it will turn back on then screen goes black then turns itself on again its like a continuous loop.

Maybe its a hardware glitch.
Does it happen on any rom you flash?

Update om cm10:
Trying to sync cm repo now to at least build the device tree & kernel
On the port:
Got out of splash screen loop
And into boot loop
I would say that's a positive step. Lol
Bear with me guys, I know I work slowly, but I am still learning
As soon as I get it booting all the way I will send pm's to those that wanna test. Thanx for all the patience y'all have shown. Stay groovy.

Well, your running the latest version like I am, so i don't think it's widget locker. I think totlth might be right. I power mine off from the lockscreen all the time and nothing like that happens.

Dont worry about us totlth you know we all have patience take all the time you need theres no need to be in a rush you know what they say you cant rush art but I am also happy that you keep us updated we're all supporting you keep up the great work and can't wait to test
