My camera won't record

Neither stills nor video? (The word "record" is ambiguous).
Can you provide some more information? What phone, OS model, whether you are trying to record to internal or removable storage, what happens when you do try to record, any error messages... At the moment all you've told us is "it doesn't work", which doesn't give anyone very much to work with in identifying the problem or a solution.

What an exhausting description of a problem
You posted in the Motorola Camera One channel so I am going to assume it's related to that app. Reading the reviews I see a lot of negative reviews from people who are in the same boat. It appears that the last update caused a lot of problems. I'd suggest getting a different camera app from the play store and see if that fixes it for you.
