My data switches on by itself, using PAYG credit.

I have an Alcatel One Touch 983 and the data switches on by itself. I can turn it off up to 5 times a day. It uses all my credit, it is so annoying. Can anyone help me to turn the data off so that it stays OFF!!

Install Data ON-OFF. If it still turns itself on, ask for a warranty exchange - the phone isn't working right. (It iis as far as the carrier is concerned - they make more money that way - but it's not supposed to ignore your settings, so it's defective.)
