My data wont work!! HELP!!

I bought a phone online that came unlocked. My carrier is Virgin Mobile. My data isn't working so I talked to a tech there and we changed my APN settings. It didn't work, they suggested I talk to whomever unlocked the phone but I ordered it on Groupon goods so that's impossible. Its a Motorola Atrix. They said they can't guarantee that the phoen will work with data..but I have bought unlocked phones before and used them with this provider...I don't know what to do. It seems useless to have a smartphone without data. HELP!

You might just want to talk to Groupon Goods and get a new phone. I mean typically when purchasing a phone, even if it is from a different seller like that you have a period of time in which you can return the device.
