Greetings,
I have a question for you all.
I have the MT4G. I have the 200MB data plan. I can connect via wifi at home and at work. When I'm out and about and need the data I turn it on...
Tonight I turned off the wifi and enabled the HSDPA+.
I run an app called Track Your 3G. It basically keeps a running tally (by app and total) of your data usage.
And it roughly agrees with the T-Mobile "My Account" data used numbers.
I have a POP3 email account with Comcast, and I'm able to send an receive email just fine.
Tonight I noticed that the native email app on the phone has used >15Mb of data over the last three hours. I haven't sent any emails nor have any new emails downloaded.
What is this app doing? Why is it using so much data, yet it is not sending nor receiving any new emails?
At this rate I could use up my 200Mb in less than a day.
Thanks in advance if anyone can offer any ideas or thoughts.
Sam
