My exchange calendar not syncing correctly.

I can sync my activities from my phone to my exchange account and they end up on my outlook desktop calendar.

My activities from my outlook do not make to the phone.

I was able to resolve
by basically going to gmail sync and syncing all then toggling on/off
Then go to email sync turn sync off and on
Sync schedule
toggled syncing items off and on
sync messages was off, turned on - not sure if that would have an effect

tested and was able to add items on phone and desktop and they did sync without me running manually
