Hi all! I just signed up to this resourceful-looking forum. I thought I'd make my first post something beneficial and share my recent experiences and lessons learned.
I recently released a small app to get acquainted with the Android release process and so forth. I also used Scala which was another first for me. I'd only learned the language a week before starting the app but I immediately found it orders of magnitude more productive a language than using Java. Cool stuff.
Anyway, I posted my experiences online so that others can benefit from the lessons I learned. If anyone's interested in everything I had to do to get the app out there and the tips & strategies I'll employ next time round, I've documented it here:
