Well, I wasn't getting laggy homescreens, but the speed that the keyboard worked was getting on my nerves.
It seemed to take just a little too long to appear when I needed it, and couldn't keep up all that well when in operation. I decided to remove as much of the dross as I could, and had a think about what I actually used.
Long story short, I decided to cut Sense UI out of the equation. I never really used widgets anyway, and seven homescreens were a little overkill for me.
I'm now a happy Vanilla Hero user. Nice, basic, fast, reliable.
I'll sit tight and see what 2.0 brings now.............
