Help My galaxy s3 mini stop recharging for no reason

I have a problem with my phone. Sometimes my phone stop recharging even it says that it is recharging and don't use the phone. Example. i recharge from 5% and it just stop at 83%. i had to reboot my phone to start recharging. My replacement battery is new.

my phone was not hot. only a little bit hot. i did not use the phone while charging.

I was asking because mine will stop once it gets passed 50c and because it's metal I often regret touching it. Samsubg charge ports are often terrible maybe warranty covers it

lol. i never reached 50c. i only reached 39c.

i have a question. can i use my dad's Sony charger? Sony is weaker than Samsung charger and takes longer time to charge but is it safe to use?

All honesty it's alright to use if you are mega worried connect to a computer
