My GS3 gets really hot, does yours? heat

The lower half of the back gets really hot when being used for long periods of time like browsing or playing games.

I'm wondering if this is just my phone or if other people experience the same issue.

You must have activated the new Samsung hot plate feature. Works great for keeping your coffee mug warm in the morning and for frying up some eggs for breakfast.

Apple will be copying that feature in iOS 7. Of course they will patent it and sue Samsung in the future when they release the S4. :)

Seriously though, sounds typical of the last few phones I've had. Wouldn't worry too much about it.

It would be cool if devices and machines could remain cool while running, but that's just not how technology is. Think: automobile.

Truth is, if you're running a lot of applications on your phone, especially games, then chances are your little friend will begin to cook. Not to the point where it'll cause substantial damage. It's okay

I only worry about this if it's warm or hot when it's supposed to be sleeping (screen off). I've noticed when this happens, it seems to indicate an app running out of control or improperly and a simple reboot will solve the problem.
