Help My internal memory is 92% empty, but I keep getting pop-ups telling me it's almost full.

What is going on here? I searched the site and only saw a few similar things. None were on the Captivate and none had any real solutions.

A few days ago I started getting this pop up: "Internal memory is almost full, try deleting some apps and yadda yadda", so I did. I deleted a whole bunch of apps, to no avail. I don't really have a whole lot on my phone to begin with, a few HD vids that were taking up the most space, and less than a half gig of music. Nothing crazy on the apps. So I connect to my PC and open spacemonger to scan and see how much space is being used. It was less than 25%. I figure what the hell, and delete the largest files which were the HD vids I shot mentioned earlier, which cut my free space back to 92%.

Slide that phone out of lock, and I get the same message. I get the message when my alarm clock goes off in the morning. I get it when I get a text message. I get it when I try to open something. WTF is going on here and why did this start happening?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone know of another forum where people might know something about issues w/Android phones? Apparently I asked in the wrong place. Thanks.

I'm having the same issue with my Captivate. The first time the "memory almost full" message popped up I deleted my call logs, text messages, pictures and some apps. Then I went and cleared the caches of the remaining apps. I'm still getting the message and I have less apps on my phone now then I had 6 months ago. When I reboot my phone I'm also getting this box popping up that says "null null" . I'm clueless as to what more I can do to solve this issue. Any ideas?
