My Legend got wet

I spilled a drop of coffee on my Legend (2-3 cm in diameter), over screen, menu and home button. Everything was fine, but after 3 hours there were few spots on the screen which lasts only milisecond. That happened 3-4 times. Now I turned it off to prevent further damage. Does anyone know what should I do next? Or, can those artefacts which shown on screen, be just temporary?

Few months ago, i poured some water on my PSP.
To get rid of the moisture i put the PSP in raw rice. After two days, all the moisture had gone and my PSP was working fine.

I dont know if it is going to work with your coffee incident, but you can give it a shot.

Make sure the phone is covered by raw rice.
