Help My Lg G2 wont hard reset

Hi,

Someone tripped my phone and change its device password. I cant open it and I didnt register my gmail account with it. My only way is to hard/factory reset it but volume down and power button way wont work. This is the first time that I will do it. Is there any other way?

im having some of the same issues with an lg device of min ei tried to flash a new rom on it with the app called flashify amd i booted the image and then it rebooted with little with some code at the top left hand corner i want to know how to get out of this its stuck

Check this :-
first turned off the phone, then press and hold the Volume Down key.
Now With the Volume Down key held, press and hold the power key.
then release both keys when the Recovery Mode appears on the screen.
now press the Volume Down key to scroll to and highlight wipe data/factory reset, then press the power key for select
press the Volume Down key to scroll to and highlight Yes : delete all user data, then press the Power key.
When the wipe is done, press the power key to select reboot system now.

What is your phone? What did you flash with Flashify? And what does the code on the screen say? Also, if your device is branded, who is your carrier?
