My mobile has stopped receiving emails

I have an htc desire, my hotmail has just stopped coming onto my phone about a week ago. I have deleted and set up my hotmail account, no luck. When i go into settings. Into accounts and sync, microsoft hotmail has a red circle next to it and error message at bottom says sync is currently experiencing problems, it will be back shortly. Please help.

It's not Hotmail coz I've been getting e-mails all morning.

Maybe the settings you use are out of date. I use:

Incoming:
Server: col-m.hotmail.com
SSL ticked
Port: 443

The outgoing settings depend on your network as most networks will only allow you to use their SMTP server - a quick google will get you the details.
