How do i make my music ,my ringtones on a LG Optimus Net?

Usually if you long press on the song (When in the music app itself), it usually gives you the option of setting it as a ringtone

Also make folders on your card "notifications", "ringtones", "alarms" & you can put things in there they'll show up on the ringer list when you go to change tones.

In settings there is a general setting for ringtone & notification; however, you can change notifications from within apps' settings (in messaging, gmail, calendar, anything else that has a notification).
