My navigation voice isn't working! HELP

[sweetoothfairy]

I am very disappointed that whenever
i choose to navigate, the voice readout of directions isn't working. it used to work on my Droid , but now that i upgraded to Droid 3 it's not working, dammit! So dangerous driving and looking at maps, i'd rather it give me SPOKEN directions like before! the voice command prompter works, so i know it's not the speaker. just maps doesnt read out directions

Welcome to the forums sweetoothfairy!
Have you gone into the settings for navigation or maps and see if there was an option for speech enabled instructions?
Do you use google maps or another navigation app?
