Help My Nexus up to date?

Called Verizon because ever since the 4.2.2 update I have low to no signal at times especially when I turn off WiFi. I disabled WiFi this morning and I sat at no signal for at least 10 minutes. I have seen that off and on since 4.2.2 but today it was concerning enough to call Verizon.

She asked me what my Baseband Version was and Build and she claimed I was missing an update. My Baseband should be FK04. I don't see anything online referring to FK04. Is there an update or is she full of it? She is sending me a replacement which I am not real keen on.

Baseband Version

I515.09 Vfk01 / I1515.FK02

Build Number

Verizon has not released those basebands and the ones you have are up to date. However my experience with them was unsatisfying and thus flashed the old radios that came with 4.1.1. Doing that made things much better in my opinion.

I wonder if that FK04 is something they are working to fix the signal issues with the last update. She said that update is only downloadable or available via WiFi and kept having me go into System Updates and tap Check Now. Maybe I will root and flash the previous radios. When you put the old radios back I assume you stay on the current version of Android?

Yep, as long you only flash the radios.
