Hi.

I have upgraded my galaxy note 2 firmware yesterday, after that battery discharged in couple of hours.
I have also canceled downloading software due to intermittent network.

eventually it doesn't charge like normal, it took 3 hours to charge 7% and getting decreased to 2% with basic use.

I have gone through some andriod forums and found galaxy current app, therefore i installed.

the result mentioned below:

Reference: 1698
Maximum: 100 mah
Avg: 100 mah

I also tried removing battery and stuffing it back, however problem still remains. could anyone share your inputs?

Are you using the original charger? Original battery? How many years have you used these (when did you buy your phone)? This is an old phone now and if using the original battery, it is time for a change.

Thanks for your response.
It is 1 year 3months old phone, it worked absolutely fine till last night.
I have been using Original Battery and Original Cable.

Hi

My note 2 gives

Reference: 1698
Maximum: 1800 mah
Avg: 1800 mah

with that app when charging on a nexus 7 charger (3amp)

100ma per hour is very slow. Try changing the lead, the charger and the battery (one a time to minimise cost). It could also be dirt in the usb port on the phone which is causing a moor connection. I clean them out using a magnifying glass, lamp and a soft brush - camera lens brush or small paintbrush (nothing conductive!)

Have you tried charging it when its completely turned off? If that is also very slow then it tends to suggest its "electrical" rather than software.
