Help My note 4 is really warm!!

Okay so I own a note 4 (sm-n910g) , and my phone keeps on getting really warm, when browsing the internet the cpu temp rises to around 54 C and when the phone is idling its around 43 C ( oh and my ambient temperature is 34 c)

I went to the shop where I bought my phone and they checked everything out and they said its completely normal, I dont buy that ._. ( when going on whatsapp or instagram for a long time the cpu temp reached 47 C which makes my phone screen warm , and its really uncomfortable to make a call)

So yea, what do I do to stop my phone from getting so hot? , or are those temperatures completely normal?
 
Also,wipe the cache partition whether you're on stock or custom firmware.
If you're on stock firmware & have recently updated from Android KIT KAT 4.4.4 to LOLLIPIP 5.0 & still experience this after wiping the cache partition,I'd do a factory reset & start fresh.
There'a a plethora of methods to back-up your data/pix/media if you're concerened about that,lots of threads here @A/F regarding the subject.
 
Check app usage - see if "media" is constantly on.

If so go to settings, Apps, All and clear data on the Media Storage. Cycle power and wait a half hour.

If the media app still shows high usage and it's still hot, then you likely have a bad media file in storage.

Hi! , so I factory reset the phone and it seems like the heat has reduced, its reduced but still there!

I tried it, sadly it didnt work , any other suggestions?
 
Okay so I tried your suggestions , but the factory reseting may have worked a little , but , the heat was still very noticeable so I got rid of some unwanted apps (turned them off) and since then the heat has LOWERED!!! :D , though I have noticed that most of my battery is drained by android system! , any suggestions why its taking up my battery , its taking more battery power than my screen! ( the screens taking 3% and the android system is taking 5%) , is that the thing thats making my phone heat up? - thanks c;

ps : my screen's brightness is at +4
 
The Android system does nothing by itself - it supports apps that ask it to do things. Looking at its consumption as a raw % number is really a dead end.

Get GSam Battery Monitor.

See if one of your top running apps is "media (anything)" - if it is after a reset, you have a corrupted media file and Android is getting lost trying to index it.

In GSam, you can tap on the Android system and sometimes get clues as to what might be calling it.

GSam isn't a silver bullet - it's a diagnostic tool.

If it reveals what's up, great, if not, we'll have to look further.

I suspect that you have the typical Google setup and your apps all downloaded again from the Play Store automatically after the reset.

In such a case, that's cleaned up the operating system caches and eliminated them as the cause.

That still leaves rogue apps running out of control and corrupted data to track down.

Hopefully this clarifies the many questions and suggestions you're seeing. :)

Thanks for replying! , anywho , the GSam app states that app usage takes 57% of my battery while the screen takes up 40% while phone radio taking around 3%

under the app usage catergory "system(mediaserver) took around 2.7% (it later increased to 3.6% making it the fourth highest app to take battery power under the app usage catergory,) is that cause of the heat? .

After I reset my note I didnt really download any other app other than GSam, plus I did turn off some google services. but , there is something weird that I have noticed ... phone radio has been active for 19 minutes while the screen was on for around 9 minutes , is that normal?

Lets say it is a rogue app, how do I stop it? D; , and if my phone is stuck on indexing, how do I stop that? o;
