Help My One M8 doesn't show on Device Manager

I got an HTC One M8 and already had an Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Tablet, both are linked to the same google account. I donwloaded the Android Device Manager app on both devices, however, either when I open it on the tablet, phone or even on a browser on a PC, the only device showing is the tablet.
If i go to the settings page on the Play Store i see both devices and both are showing.

I believe i already tried everything from the Android Device Manager help page to add the device.

Any idea what can I do to add the M8 to the android device manager?
