Root My One V Will Not Root?

Newbie
okay so i went to the htc dev to unlock my bootloader.
during the process i had some trouble as command prompt would not comunitcate with my htc correctly.
took me about 5 tries till it went through.
my boot loader does say unlocked.
i have tried different methods to root.
i have also tried one click root but it fails.
and when i try to flash a recovery file i get the screen that says this htc this is for developers only or something like that.
all methods lead to this screen any help?

also when i try to use one cliick it says i need to unlock bootloader but it fails to? its already unlocked. i am at a loss maybe it didnt unlock correctly?
i installed to htc sync drivers after i unlocked the bootloader

You need to delete HTC synch from your computer.

The drivers will stay installed. This should allow you to flash a recovery so you can flash superSU from inside the recovery.

Then try and just use fastboot to flash a custom recovery?

And then flash root from inside the recovery....

Instead of using a 'one click' solution?
