Why on earth did they feel the need to dedicate a soft key for screenshots? And even one beef further, why is it on the bottom and the apps soft key on the top?

I will agree about the screen capture issue about it being dumb but realistically I almost never hit it...the should have made the screen shot button in the middle pop up menu

I agree with the apps key at the bottom, but i never have accidentally hit the screen shot key before. I personally love that they have a quick and easy shortcut to take a screen shots at the bottom there, but that's what opinions are for.

Different strokes for different folks - I personally like the dedicated screenshot button, and if they didn't add it, I would have. As for the app tray access at the top of screen, that is easily configuarable via an alternate launcher (see screenshot of my home screen using Zeam, below).

I have to agree with the OP...I hit that &%$@ button ALL the time!
