Root My Phone is a BRICK!!!

There are too many threads around here where people say they've bricked their phones.

To be clear, in 99.9% of cases, your phone is *not* bricked unless it won't turn on AND you don't have a charging light on your phone. Even then, it's best to wait a day before you declare it a total brick.

If your phone is showing the white HTC screen (splash screen), and then does something more, it's definitely not a brick.

Think about it - what do bricks do? Pretty much nothing. They definitely don't shine light and vibrate when you touch them in a special spot.

Too many brick threads were making me crazy!

Is it really that bad that people call it bricked?

Either way, the thread is going to be created to ask for help, they're just not informed correctly on what exactly is happening and I think that's okay. As long as they can tell us what's happening to their phone exactly, it shouldn't matter what they call it.

Yes I know they have to do their research before they ask, but I'm sure not everyone knows exactly what they're looking for.

I don't know. It just kind of seems kinda rude pointing fingers when they're just using the wrong terminology.

I mean no offense, just my two cents.

One time I bricked my PSP with an uncharged pandora battery. I lit it on fire the next day...
