My phone has a number of battery related issues. Sometimes it gets hot, for no apparent reason. I check to see what's running, but there is nothing unusual. My phone will not show that it is charging if I charge it while it's on. I must turn it off to charge. But last night it did not charge at all, and showed the battery was down to 29%. Then, after about half an hour trying to figure out how to do a hard reset (still don't know), it shows 100% charge on the battery. Is my phone lying to me? Waiting to ambush me in the middle of the day. Is my phone just a lemon?

Sir, I am sad to say that your phone IS a lemon.
Joking of course, but I prefer that you take it up to Metro, I've had a total of 4 Admires, all activated. The first one wouldn't charge at all, the second one had battery problems, the third just needed a new charger, and I have the fourth, which is the Holiday White edition. So, you should first try a new charger, if you've used different a charger for a different phone on your admire, or a charger from a different company, it could corrupt your poor little port and kill him. So, I suggest getting a new charger, if it doesn't work, tell Metro about the problem. You don't know the struggle until you've had to hold your charger a certain way for it to work. :O
