My phone is not detected on my pc

I have conected my "wildfire s" a lot of times to my pc and used to work fine...
but last week my phone stoped detecting that it was conected to a pc:(. The phone makes a noise but all it does is charge the phone. There is no new notification or usb sign that it is conected. Although my pc shows a mass usb drive storage sign on conecting but my phone dosent even mount as a disk drive.

So last night i did a factory reset after which it surprisingly got detected and everything was working fine and I even got a notification of conecting to the pc. But today I had the same problem.. I have tried debuging and it dosent help. I'm really frustrated now...
I would really appriciate some help. thanks :)
 
i have the same problem.. my pc won't just detect my phone.. all it does is just charge it..
help please..!!!
 
Try another cable if you have one. Also you might want to try a different usb port. Had a similar problem with an LG phone not being detected by its software, so tried another cable and it worked.
 
hi i have a htc wild fire s with a cracked screen and cant get to any part of the phone to whip everything of wen i plug it into my pc its just comin up with charge only can any 1 help thank
