Help My phone isn't turning on!

Whenever I turn off my phone, it refuses to turn back on. I tried everything from recharging it to taking out the battery and putting it back in. The screen just goes back to the Sony Ericcson screen every 5 seconds. Anyone else experience this before? Any solutions guys?

Try to re-install your software using the SEUS
Sony Ericsson - Support - Softwaredownloads - Detailed - Updateservice - Xperia? X10
Failing that, take phone back as prop faulty

I do not have warranty on this phone. Will returning my phone force me to buy a new one?

Have you tried running the software repair?

The handsets have a year or two year warranty which is valid if you are still in the country of purchase and have the original receipt. You don't mention where you are from.

If you don't have a warranty you can probably still get it repaired by technicians but it will be at your expense, so then it is up to you whether you go this route or buy a new handset.
