Help My phone just freez for no reason.

Hello guys,
I have a 2 years old Samsung Galaxy SIII and I haven't had any problems with it so far. It started freezing since last month and I have no idea why. For example when I leave it on charger and after 2 hours of charging the LED light is still glowing but when I try to unlock it or something the screen is just staying off so I have to remove the baterry, place it again and turn it on. Sometimes it freezes even when I'm not using it and the device is not on charger. I tryied to hard reset it and surprisingly it started working like it used to but last night it froze again. For less than 10hours I had to do the thing with the battery about 5 times. Oh, I forgot to mention that the phone is not with the original battery, is it possible that the problem is in the battery?!? o_O
If soemeone knows the reason for this I'd be really happy to hear it. Is it worth to fix it or I should get another phone. I know that the phone is old 2 years is too much for the new technology and blah blah the thing is I like it and I don't want to let it go.
Thanks in advance :)

As long as its a battery for your device you should be good! As for the freezing, how is your memory? Did you download anything and it start happening?

I haven't download stuff for a long time and my phone has almost nothing on it.... something lik 100 songs and 100 pics. maybe I should try to uninstall the apps

Music can take up a lot of space! Is it saved on a card? How much internal memory do you have? You can always disable apps your not using! Make sure JTS nothing system related!
