Help My Phone Screen: Easy/cheap fix, or Kaput?

As you can see, there's some damage at the top of the screen resulting in these green pixel-like marks that do not seem to effect normal touch screen functions. This was a result of a hard drop. You'll also notice there are a couple spots where it's brighter and washed out, one on the "G" right where the "4" meets it, and one below the "G" on the light blue background. These are most noticeable on lighter backgrounds, and are barely noticeable on darker backgrounds. I don't know where these came from.

I'd like to sell this phone soon, so if there's a way to fix this on-the-cheap, I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I recently replaced my digitizer but not the lcd screen itself.
I got my parts from here:

My hands are not the steadiest in the world so I completely boogered my job and my whole screen looked like yours. Green/multicolored/pixelated etc.

Others have had better luck than I and you may too.

One of my EVOs has something similar to that stuff at the top of your screen. I won't fix it though. The USB port is already damaged. It's currently being used as a minitablet for the kid. Sad part is I was the one who dropped the EVO.
