Have you tried a different usb cable? Mine sometimes has to have just the perfect angle because it is getting worn out..

Take the phone back to the point of purchase & get a replacement.
It should be covered if the phone is less than a year old.

if you can't get a replacement get an external battery charger and a extra battery....it would be a pain to take out the battery each time, but it would be cheaper than buying a new phone. I have one of these and it works great.
