My phone won't show sent texts and make phone calls.

Hi,

Every night I put my phone on charge and turn it off, then in the morning turn it on, ready to go.

But this morning my phone wouldn't turn on, so I disconnected the charger from the phone, tried, nope. I then took out the battery, blew inside and blew the battery (trying to clear dust etc), put it back together and it turned on.

However, the time isn't working, normally it says the time I turned it off at then syncs with the internet, however it hasn't doesn't that, and when I send a text I don't see it as sent, I don't see it at all, however they're being sent as people are replying and I'm able to see their message. When trying to make a phone call to a landline the phone just bleeps and ends the call, the number is correct, and works from the my house's landline. I restarted the phone, yet the problems still occur.

Any ideas what's wrong with it?

NB: The phone is 3+ years old, sometimes it crashes and turns off when I put into a charger it doesn't like, it's slow boot up when I restart it or turn it off, then on in a short period of time and it can generally mess up a bit...

The phone isn't connecting to the network, or is only partially connecting. Someone is going to have to look at it and test a few things (and call your carrier to make sure that there's nothing wrong at their end) to determine what the problem is, whether it's fixable and, if it is, how.

Thanks for the reply. I tried ringing the house phone and the call connected, I than rang my mobile from the house phone and that connected. Both calls worked. Now just why my texts aren't showing when sent and why the time isn't syncing...
