Help my phone won't turn on

i was playing hockey with my brother then my samsung dart turn off. it was hot and i thought it was over heated so i took out the batteries and put it in a cool spot. but now it won't turn on. can someone tell me how to fix it?

Can you power it up with a power cord? Possibly without the battery?

If you can't get into recovery or download mode there isn't much hope.
