My review of BB in general: a disgrace to smartphones.

what !?

BB did not win worst phone of the year 2011 !

sadly that place went to samsung.

the only award bb could possibly get in their entire lifetime and they blew it. knowing bb they are famous for making terrible phones.. .samsung dominates again ! do you have any idea how hard they had to try to beat bb? they must have spent hundreds of billions of dollars for research on how they can produce a phone worse than a bb. BB are lucky... the ability to produce the worst phones comes to them naturally... they are experts at it.
 
a load of rubbish...i know.

bb is unbeatable when it comes to producing rubbish.

i knew there were plenty of reasons for me to keep hatin on sammy.
 
why samsung of all phones...why you hate samsung ?
if its late updates...i know.
if its peoples infatuated opinions...i know.

but why you hate samsung ?
 
1. as you said.. late and spotty updates
2. i hate touchwiz
3. the individual parts dont really work together to add value. the specs are great, but they dont seem to work together in a way to add more.
4. I think samsung finds all the buzz words and top notch specs.. push them into 1 phone.. to beat all other phones. just for marketing.

htc phone had lower specs.. but...
Hero was better than the Moment
EVO was better than the Epic
 
my mom has an SII...for a phone that won phone of the year there's really not much to it but benchmarks. when your screen turns off you push the middle button and wait 3-4 seconds for a response...i've even seen better with HTC. oh...and the build quality is close to a piece of flimsy plastic covering the battery. but hate is such a hard word...its a word you would use to describe your emotions about someone that ruined your life... dislike is a better term. but still...first place for worst phone goes to bb...no second thoughts on that.
 
I will give samsung this, I am impressed with the new SGS2... only played with one at the sprint store for a bit, but I was pretty impressed (assuming I can root it ;) )

agreed dan...its just so good to get these things out some times, that I forgot its just a phone...oh well...i think it was a good conversation don't you...now I can start to speak about my HTC Snap...it may have 3G but...ok yeah...i admit it... I'm trying to keep this thread at the top...happy? ;-)

perhaps just let it die...oh have you seen the thread: hall of fame: greatest htc of all time...?

Samsung Galaxy S II is the best phone of 2011, it's won crap loads of awards and it's the best seller.

It's made of plastic to decrease the weight, it's actually a very strong phone and has done extremely well in drop tests, you may not like the material used but the build quality is great.

There is no delay on my Galaxy S II when I press middle button and to say it does nothing but benchmark shows you have no experience with the Galaxy S II at all.

It's the fastest and most feature heavy phone available,what exactly doesnt the Galaxy S II do?

I agree with you...its an excellent phone...but battery dies quick...say a day.

...to set things right, I've had a lot of experience with it...sadly just haven't rooted it yet.

"what exactly dosent the Galaxy S II do?"...i thought you had experience with the phone....if you did, you would notice it does not have 3D or 1 TB HDD or built in fire wire or USB, it does not have ICS or honey cone- android 3 if you are wondering nor the space to install liquid cooling. oh...and the GPS needs work.

I'm not fighting...

but nice to meet you shocky ;-)
 
oh and by the way... the S2 is not samsungs worst phone...and hey, I didn't vote samsung worst phone, phone arena did, did you not click the link and read my comments about that article?

remember my moms S2 and yours are different...hers has scratches and yours probably does'nt...all I know is the 4 second wait is there...you get devices that are more faulty than others sometimes.

like I said I'm not fighting...besides, samsung is one of my most favorite manufacturers for cellphones...but any way, the names KTW...how's your S2 do? :)

My battery lasts over a day, I get 1-2 days and the GPS works perfectly, I use it everyday. 3D is a gimmick, an unwanted feature for many including myself.

ICS isnt really needed to run any applications off the market, so it doesnt really matter yet and honeycomb is for tablets, you wouldn't want it on your phone.

The others are silly mate as this is a phone not a PC, can you imagine a phone with a HDD? It would be the return of the brick. :D
