My Samsung music on phone keeps automatically playing

Hi all,

I've recently installed an app that allows your phone alarm to be channeled through the earphone and as a result, I've been sleeping with wired earphones on that are connected to my phone. At random intervals throughout the night, Samsung music will randomly open up and blast music into my eardrums to wake me from my needed sleep (music that is on my playlist). I'm pretty sure turning down the media volume does nothing (it toggles it automatically?), and I've disabled google assistant so I'm wondering if there are any other reasons for this. Thanks and happy new year!

Edit: It happened again last night, I think movement may have somehow caused the music (controls buttons on the earphones are non-functional), any replies would be greatly appreciated!

Some music apps in their settings..they have the option of start playing music automatically if device attached or paired..

I can't think of other reason..unless your bluetooth device is possessed..lol

No seriously, see if that works..let us know..

Could be during your sleep, you're moving about, rolling over sometimes, and possibly activating the control buttons on it?

Is that a little bit dangerous sleeping with wired headphones on? Like you might roll over, wrap the cord round your neck, and strangle yourself.

I keep my wired earphones in the music jack overnight and I don't think I disconnect it. My phone also doesn't normally do that anyways.

Seems like everything is point to the possibility that its possessed, I'm going to need some holy water from eBay.

Thanks though!

The control buttons don't work so I don't think thats the issue. I've never had the issue of the cord wrapped around my neck, I don't move a lot in my sleep. The cord doesn't really bother me, and I've tried other solutions - wireless earbuds, earplugs - and I've always awoken with pain in my ear, unlike the wired pair I use.

Thanks for your reply!

That's good. I actually woke up with two broken toes and a lot of pain once.
