Help My SD card won't work... HELP!

So, I have this LG L Bello since July, and I'm 100% sure I have NEVER dropped it. Yesterday night, It was rebooting itself like 10 times. It stopped.

This morning, I notice the SD card isn't recognized. I try to pull it off and put it in many times, it works for some minutes, then it goes unrecognized again and I can't use the apps on my SD. I tried to clean the contacts of the SD card with a Q tip, now when I put it in it sometimes says "SD card damaged" but I still can get it to work after pulling it off and putting it back in a lot of times.

The SD card is not damaged (at least not completely) because it can still work, and I don't know how it would happen if I never opened my phone since like 2 weeks ago and I had no problems until yesterday.

How do I backup the SD card though? LG service backup won't work, it stops at 33% and says "Backup folder not created"

u should go to the local phone store for some help.
anyway, don't buy SD card from informal stores.

Did you try putting the sd in a card reader in a pc? .. if the pc recognize it you can back everything up to pc then buy new sd card and restore everything from your pc to the new sd card

however if the pc recognize it then the problem is in your phone..talk to LG..if pc didn't recognize it too.. the card is probably corrupted

And you put the SD directly in computer using SD Card Reader, not through phone in MTP or something?

Forget it... the SD card was damaged (Yet I still managed to send my files to my computer, so I guess it wasn't completely damaged). I had another SD card lying around, put it in, everything works nice.

What I want to know is how it got damaged, since I never let my phone drop and I didnt take the case off in any moment around the time where it got damaged.

There are many fake and junk sd cards on the internet.
Always buy a name brand from a reputable dealer.

Yea, try formatting it in computer, perhaps it just got corrupt. If that works try it in phone and download SD Insight. See if it is legitimately what it says on the card. Maybe it is legitimate and just got corrupt and the format will fix.
