Help My sisters phone is stuck on Desk Cradle mode

My sister has a Samsung Admire 4g (MetroPCS), and recently her phone keeps going to "desk cradle" mode when she hits the Home button. I heard that happens when you put your phone on a dock? But the thing is, she doesn't even have a dock. It just randomly happened. She took it to a Metro store, they said she had a virus, they factory reseted her phone, and that took care of the problem. But "desk cradle" mode came back randomly again. She took it back to the store, and they said they couldn't do anything else since they already resetted the phone, so she would have to buy a new one. Is there a way to disable that? I would guess rooting it and deleting the "desk cradle" app, but there is no root for that specific phone.

The samsung galaxy admire 4g is a completely different phone than the samsung admire. none of here probably have use the galaxy admire to know how to solve it. google around

I was going to put it on the Admire 4g forum but its dead there, so I decided to put it in the Android Lounge, but then it was moved here, lol. And wow, I've Googled searched for it, and all ive seen was people with problems. Then I Youtubed it, and all I've seen was docks. But thanks a lot for the link. I will try this out.

I'm sure you've checked, but did a piece of the dock break off in the phone? Or, it might be a magnetic type of thing that is effecting it. Alot of devices have have a magnet that triggers docking mode. Perhaps something got jostled in the phone?? Other than that, I'm lost.
