Help My son locked me out of my Note 5

My son was messing around with my phone and locked me out. Of course I cannot remember the backup password, or if I even set up a password. Is there anything I can do before having to do a factory reset? I have tried android device manager, but since the phone is already locked that will not work.

I accidentally did that to myself.

FDR was the only way I could fix it.
the next time I got it up, I established a lot of backup methods, email addresses, store the codes in 99 places,

I am afraid that is the only solution. Ugh.
