My SU experience - FYI

Ok...so I was running EL22 for awhile. rooted via odin and with the help of the amazing qbking and his most helpful vid's. So of course SU was installed back when i first rooted. (cant remember which version), all the while trying out different security apps such as lookout/webroot/comodo, etc ,etc. I believe one of those apps had found and removed some sort of tracking cookie or something. Anywho...after my last attempt trying out the AMAZING MIUI rom...and again downloading SU to my sdcard...I bricked my phone and had to get a hard reset. Longer story short....I went with Avast on stock and just for kicks I scanned my entire sdcard, which still had most of the roms and various other tars and zips

for some reason it cut the last part of my post. just wanted to clarify....no accusations meant to anyone...just relating my exp. Avast found a exploit in the SU.zip/tar file that I got from XDA. The file was removed by avast, but it showed "very serious". I wish I wld have made notes to add here.
