Hello,

I just bought a DIFRNCE Tablet DIT702101(android 4.2.2) but after following all instructions the thing won't connect with my PC, i've tried several computers.
Hopefully some knows what i must do.

Thank you

If the tablet uses MTP you will have to install Windows Media Player 11 on your XP computer.

You don't have to use WMP11, you need to install it so windows XP will have the proper drivers to communicate with the tablet.

Be sure to reboot after WMP11 installs.

Hello,
How can i tell the tablet uses mtp?
Thanks again!

If it's a 4.2.2 device then it will have MTP. USB mass storage mode was removed from 4.1 and later AFAIK. However you might need to go into the device's settings to select it, because USB has a couple of modes of operation, like PTP or USB tethering.

What actually happens when you connect the tablet to the XP computer, like are you seeing the USB connected notification at the top of the tablet's screen? If so you may need to open it and select MTP from a list of choices. Also is your USB cable ok, have you tried another one? Is XP making the "donk dink" sound when you connect the USB?
