My take on the GIII

Ok here goes I LOVE it except for a couple of things
first the cons and it is not just the G111 its just about every phone I have had.
Cons
1. They put the volume button right where I put my thumb and I aways turn it down or ringer off by accident.
2. after a call it always seems to go back to somewhere in settings or somewhere. It may be me hitting a command but today they all seem to go to the roaming setup menu,

Pros
1. EVERYTHING ELSE on this jewel,. I love the S-Voice for texting it actually works.

and newies dont get frustrated just take a couple things a day and learn em

root your phone and get jelly bean so you can have google now its ten times better than s voice... also it's the s3 not the g3 :)

May one link a noob friendly guide on how to root and flash a Verizon S3 to JB? I am really curious to try this out, i just have a fears like loosing Flash Player if I flash.

Is this easy? Is there a guide for doing this

Thanks

Download your carriers latest leaked update to your SD card and rename it to update.zip, turn phone off, turn phone on while holding volume up + home button, update using the downloaded zip. More detailed instructions can be found on the XDA-Developers forums.

The Galaxy 3 is a different phone.

Just install the latest Jelly Bean leak, no need to root.

I just followed the instructions to get jelly bean from an unrooted phone and I get this little android with a blue thing spinning round and round. This has been going on for about 6 or 7 minutes, is everything working fine?
