My Talking Tom app crashes halfway

Hello.

I have the app "My Talking Tom" on my Dell Venue 8 tablet. It used to be one of my favorite apps until it started to crash every time I tried to open it. This happened about three weeks ago. I was at level 82 with about 23,000 coins, but I no longer can open the app without it crashing halfway through the loading. :mad: I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app but nothing worked. I contacted Outfit 7, the maker of the app, about my problem but all I got was an automatic response with didn't help me. I also have "Talking Tom 2", "Groove Racer", and "Jigty Jigsaw Puzzles" (all of which is made by Outfit7, BTW) on my tablet and each one works properly. I don't understand it.:confused: Something must be wrong with the app. It can't be the tablet because nearly all of the other apps that I downloaded work fine.

Was there an update on it lately?
If so, check the app page and see if the update has caused problems for others as well.
 
The most recent update was July 25, 2014, around the same time I started noticing that the app started crashing everytime I tried to open it. Before then, the app was working perfectly. As for reviews, according to Google Play, there's about 1 or 2 people with the same problem that I am having. Most of the reviews are favorable as you can expect.
 
This is why I always keep programs from updating unless I do it manually. I also export a copy of the working apk to my memory card in case the program was screwed up and they haven't ironed it out, or its removed from the store.


It's good for if you factory reset and want to install the last working copy.
 
Sorry to bump and old thread, but it appears that since the latest update (9/05/14) of the My Talking Tom app, I can now open the app now without crashing. Even better is that I regain all of my progress. It appeared to be a Facebook bug or something. Regardless, my problem has now been solved.
