my thoughts on the 4.0 update

The only thing I ever heard was "insiders" were saying to "news sources" that it would come out sometime in Q2. I do not recall any official statement from LG or Verizon that it would definitely be coming in Q2.

And it just may be that Q2 was the goal but they ran into a huge issue with the coding and had to do a major overhaul of what had already been done. We don't know.

Now I do wish LG and Verizon and all big companies would be more open and upfront with people about stuff like this but thats another issue altogether.

Yeah so do we know if we are getting I c s in August or September
 
Is that the official Asus build? I'm running cm10 nightly and Baked (which I prefer). 4.1 destroys 4.0 in performance... I don't know why anyone bothers with cm9 and the ICS builds on the transformer.
 
This may or may not be relevant but if my spectrum is rooted running on a stock based custom Rom can it safely take the over the air update or will it brick the phone

You need to be on stock 100 percent. No custom ROM and you must have stock recovery. Being rooted is ok though
